The concrete mix for piles is made using a stabilizing additive to
make it easy to immerse the reinforcement frames even without additional mechanisms.

Why do we recommend ordering a little more concrete than you actually need?

When estimating the amount of concrete to order, estimate that you will need more than just enough to fill the volume of your planned object.

When unloading concrete with a pump, approximately 0.2 m3 of concrete will remain in its pipes and unloading hopper. In a concrete truck, due to the consistency of the concrete, 0.1 m3 of non-unloadable residue is formed.

Also, due to the compaction of the concrete or a not very smooth surface, a larger quantity needs to be planned, depending on the object itself:

• For piles – 10%
• For floors, playgrounds – 5%
• For other structures – 2%

By estimating these errors, you will avoid additional trips to deliver the missing quantity, and therefore, unplanned expenses.
